ENGYS is pleased to announce that the ENGYS User Group Meeting (UGM) 2026 programme is now available. The event will take place at the Petit Palace Savoy Alfonso XII in Madrid, Spain, on 21–23 October 2026.
The first day, 21st October, will feature free HELYX and ELEMENTS training, with hands-on workshops focused on the upcoming version 4.6.0 release. Led by ENGYS specialists, the trainings will cover new features, workflow improvements, methodologies and application-driven examples designed to help engineers get more value from ENGYS’s open-source CFD solutions.
The training day will be followed by technical sessions on 22nd and 23rd October, featuring presentations from ENGYS, customers and partners across a wide range of industries. The programme includes contributions from Schottel, CycloTech, Grundfos, Ramboll, Diehl Defence, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, SMS group, Foster + Partners and others, covering several application areas such as automotive, aerospace, marine, renewable energy, turbomachinery, industrial engineering and the built environments.
The technical programme will also feature a keynote presentation by Francisco (Patxi) Lara, Numerical Simulation CoE Director at RDT, about practical insights from real-world engineering applications, exploring the methodologies, workflows and best practices that can help engineers tackle complex CFD challenges more effectively.

This is an in-person-only event, organised in partnership with RDT. Attendance is free and open to current users, partners, simulation engineers and professionals interested in scalable CFD solutions powered by open-source technology.
