Engys was principal sponsor of the 7th OPENFOAM Workshop held in Darmstadt, Germany. The Workshop attracted more than 380 people from industry and academia, making it the largest OPENFOAM® related event in history to date. We also presented 3 papers in the subjects of adjoint CFD optimisation, MDO methods and multi-phase flow applications. In the last day we delivered the first live demo of HELYXOS, an Open Source GUI for OPENFOAM® which was very well received by the community. Engys is already looking forward to next year’s event in South Korea.
