ENGYS is pleased to announce the release v2.1.0 of HELYX-OS, an open-source graphical user interface designed to work with the current version of OPENFOAM® v2.3.x. The GUI is free to download from sourceforge for Linux systems and is delivered to the public under the GNU General Public License.
HELYX-OS v2.1.0 incorporates a considerable number of improvements and bug fixes over HELYX-OS v2.0.1. The main features of HELYX-OS v2.1.0 include among other things:
- Support for OPENFOAM® v2.3.x
- New solver tab with solver monitoring and solution residuals chart
- Support for high Mach, highly compressible flow solvers
- Improved usability via an enhanced tree navigation system
- Geometry and mesh patches properties clone and copy
- Automatic update notification system
A version of HELYX-OS v2.1.0 with OPENFOAM® v2.3.x for Windows is also available as a single installation file for support customers only.
