CFD Programme Manager

ENGYS is currently seeking a CFD Programme Manager (f/m/d) with a strong background in CFD engineering or research and a proven track record in project management to oversee our technical research projects and strengthen our consulting engineering operations and business development activities in Europe. The succesful cadidate is expected to work from our Italian office in Trieste, although remote working from Italy or Spain are also accepatble. Due to the nature of this role, this position is only open to candidates who already have the right to work in Italy or Spain as applicable.

This role is multi-facetted and includes a wide range of responsibilities:

Program management:

  • Technical project management of institutional (EU, regional government funded) research and innovation and commercial projects.
  • Preparation, review and submission of project proposals.
  • Coordination of research team daily activities.
  • Networking and clustering activities to search for new project calls and potential partners.

Business development:

  • Present and promote products/services to existing and prospective customers.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to develop common strategies and practices.
  • Analyse local market potential and liaise with marketing department to identify lead generation opportunities.
  • Act as conduit for customer feedback and feature requirements to help improve product effectiveness.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • MSc, Diploma degree or higher in engineering or related technical area;
  • Minimum of five years' experience in relevant fields;
  • In-depth knowledge of CFD modelling software, preferably HELYX, ELEMENTS or OpenFOAM;
  • Proven track record of successful project proposals and project management, including EU funded projects (e.g. Horizon Europe);
  • Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills (English and Italian).
