ENGYS is an innovative CAE software company focussed on providing cutting-edge CFD products and solutions based on open-source technologies. We are currently looking for an exceptional individual (f/m/d) to help our team in Europe support our customers and grow our business. The candidate is expected to work remotely/onsite from our offices in Trieste, Athens or London. Due to the nature of this role, the candidate must be an EU/UK citizen.
The role is multi-facetted and includes a range of responsibilities:
- Customer support – liaise with users and assist with process integration and methods development.
- CFD modelling – focussed on engineering analysis, product demonstration and proof-of-concept.
- Product strategy – translate customer feedback and market opportunities into new software development goals.
- Training – deliver high quality CFD training onsite or remotely.
- Support sales – contributing with technical inputs to activities such as product demonstration, project specification and proposals.
The ideal candidate should have the following proven skills and qualifications:
- MSc, Diploma degree or higher in engineering or related technical area, with specific focus on fluid dynamics and numerical methods.
- Scope and run a CFD analysis based on customer inputs, covering all the stages of the process, i.e. CAD preparation and pre-processing, meshing, solving and debugging, post-processing and results analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of numerical modelling with commercial and/or open-source CFD software, preferably HELYX or OpenFOAM.
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks/multiple projects simultaneously while working on a team of experienced professionals.
- Effective communicator with a positive attitude, preferably multi-language.
- Passionate about engineering in general and CFD in particular.
