HELYX-OS v2.2.0 released by ENGYS®. An open-source GUI for OPENFOAM®.

ENGYS is delighted to announce the release v2.2.0 of HELYX-OS, an open-source graphical user interface designed to work with the current version of OPENFOAM® v2.3.1. The GUI is free to download from SourceForge for Linux systems and is delivered to the public under the GNU General Public License.

 

HELYX-OS v2.2.0 incorporates a number of improvements and bug fixes over HELYX-OS v2.1.0. The new features in HELYX-OS v2.2.0 include among other things:

  • Support for OPENFOAM® v2.3.1
  • New terminal manager (maximise, minimise, stop, kill, scroll lock)
  • New base mesh import from external blockMeshDict
  • New delete mesh option

A version of HELYX-OS v2.2.0 with OPENFOAM® v2.3.1 for Windows is also available as a single installation file for support customers only.
