ENGYS presents at the 2016 JSAE Annual Spring Congress and Exposition in Yokohama

 

ENGYS, a global provider of open-source based CAE software solutions, attended the 2016 JSAE Annual Spring Congress and Exposition organised by the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan. The event was held between May 25th and 27th at the Pacifico Yokohama Conference Center in Pacifico Yokohama, Japan.

 

The company was represented by CAE Solutions Corporation as exhibitors at the Automotive Engineering Exposition, where they demonstrated the open-source based CFD software products HELYX and ELEMENTS. The Automotive Engineering Exposition is a “technology-centered” exhibition with as many as 400 Japanese and worldwide companies showcasing their latest competing technologies. Each year, around 70,000 people visit and invigorate this event.

 

In addition, Dr. Eugene de Villiers - Managing Director of ENGYS - delivered a joint paper with Auto Reasearch Center on Quasy-transient Adjoint Optimisation for Vehicle External Aerodynamics at the Technical Paper Presentation, which attracted over 100 engineers in the afternoon of May 27th and had an excellent reception amongst the many attendeesThe Technical Paper Presentation brings in more than 4,000 engineers specialised in automotive and related technologies every year, with some 400 papers delivered as lectures.

 

     

 

The JSAE Congress and Exposition was concluded on May 27th with the open seminar Optimisation of Vehicle External Aerodynamics with ELEMENTS at the Grand Inter Continental Hotel Yokohama, Japan. This event was organised by CAE-Solutions with the participation of ENGYS and Auto Research Center, and the presence of almost 30 representatives from Japanese companies and academia.
